Miller School Road, has been the commercial and community center of Batesville and its environs since 1880. Originally a general store selling dry goods and staples, it now features comfort food made fresh in the store, homemade baked goods, local crafts and Virginia wines, live music every weekend, and free wireless access. The store is also a place where people come just to hang out or to visit with friends and neighbors. It is the heart of Batesville, pure and simple. |

September 9. Bluzonia, making a rare Thursday evening appearance,
will dish the same “hillbilly blues” that they’ve played in their
many appearances at our Saturday evening parties. We’ll be charcoaling
up the grill for a Burgers & Fries Cookout. 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. --Saturday, September 11. The Central Virginia Blues Society will be hosting a big blues jam featuring
more than a dozen musicians from the area. We’ll be putting
out an All You Can Eat Mexican Buffet. 6:30 - 9:00 p.m. --Sunday, September 12. Kick back to terrific old-timey courtesy of Lulu & the Virginia Creepers. Order from our regular deli menu. 1:30 - 4:00 p.m.
